What Information We Collect
We collect three kinds of information:
- Personal information that you directly provide to us, which includes information you supply when you register an account with us and save items to your profile.
- Non-personal information that’s automatically gathered as you use NewAgeChristianity.org, which includes tracking information for our sites.
- Cookies, to help us understand what areas of the site are most useful and interesting to our audience.
Information You Provide Directly To Us
Account Information
When you register an account with us, we ask for basic information such as email, name and password, and give you the option to provide other information. If you create an account through another user profile (such as Facebook, or other social media) then they will send us your information from your profile to use in accordance with our Privacy Policy. At times, you may be asked to provide additional information, such as payment for conference registration or module access. We also collect activities you generate by favoriting, saving or watching talks.
Billing and Credit Card Information
When required for donations, conference registration, product purchases or other services, we may store your name, address, telephone number and email address. We do not store credit card numbers except for the last 4 digits. This information will only be shared with third parties who perform tasks required to complete the purchase transaction.
Device Information
We may collect non-personal information about the computer, mobile device or other device you use to access New Age Christianity resources, such as IP address, geolocation information, unique device identifiers, browser type, browser language and other transactional information.

The New Age Christianity community is a public community. As such, your community interactions are public and visible to the rest of the community by default. Please refer to the Community Guidelines about how to best take advantage of our interactive spaces.
We are not responsible for personally identifiable information you choose to submit in these interactive spaces. Changes to this privacy policy
Accessing and updating your personal information
Whenever you use our services, we aim to provide you with access to your personal information. If that information is wrong, we strive to give you ways to update it quickly or to delete it – unless we have to keep that information for legitimate business or legal purposes. When updating your personal information, we may ask you to verify your identity before we can act on your request.
We may reject requests that are unreasonably repetitive, require disproportionate technical effort (for example, developing a new system or fundamentally changing an existing practice), risk the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup systems).
Where we can provide information access and correction, we will do so for free, except where it would require a disproportionate effort. We aim to maintain our services in a manner that protects information from accidental or malicious destruction. Because of this, after you delete information from our services, we may not immediately delete residual copies from our active servers and may not remove information from our backup systems.
Deactivating your account and managing privacy settings
You can request that your account be deactivated at any time by contacting us. When your account is deactivated, your user profile and all public activities (such as comments) will be hidden.
